This set is a variation on something I did with a Dutch model back in 2004 and liked the look of - a rope tie with a clingfilm mummification over the top so that the ropes can be seen underneath. Needless to say, Jade went along with the idea with her customary enthusiasm... The clingfilm is a bit thicker than the usual kitchen stuff (more like pallet wrap) and a lot narrower. That makes for a much neater wrap, although it takes longer to do!
